I am a trained graduate of the Digital Mums Social Media Management course. The course taught me loads but things never stay still in social media for long!
A huge benefit of being a Digital Mums graduate, is being part of The #DMCollective Facebook Group. This is a group of over 1,000 experienced freelance social media managers. All of whom have been trained to the high standards of Digital Mums. We help and support each other virtually, to keep up to date with all the latest changes of the evolving world of social media.
In my former career, I spent 10 years working for the NHS. I held a range of management roles, latterly with a communications focus. Provided with the opportunity to take redundancy, I had a career break and spent a few years out of the workplace. This meant I was lucky enough to have more family time with my two daughters.
The career break, led to my desire for a more flexible freelance career. So, I decided to enhance my existing communication skills, and retrain in social media management.
